Sian kELLY LIVES AND WORKS ON unceded Gadigal land of the Eora Nation. tHEY PAY THEIR deepest respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and acknowledge this land's prosperous and rich history of art making, sharing, and learning. Always was, always will be Aboriginal Land.

Kelly is interested in the morphing, fluid relationships of gender, the mind, and their embodiments. through an auto-biographical lens, kelly’s multi-disciplinary practice uses core mediums of performance, installation, sculpture, ceramics, and drawing to explore intersections of gender, the body, and the self.

KELLY HAS EXHIBITED IN GALLERIES THROUGHOUT THE GREATER Eora/SYDNEY REGION and naarm/melbourne, INCLUDING HAZELHURST REGIONAL GALLERY, UNSW GALLERIES, Stanley street gallery, and Incinerator gallery.

THEY HAVE BEEN PLACED AS A FINALIST IN SUCH AWARDS AS THE INCINERATOR ART AWARD, TWT EXCELLENCE AWARD, KUDOS EMERGING ARTIST AND DESIGNER AWARD, and the YEN/STAEDTLER ART AWARD.

2023 saw kelly’s debut international exhibition, metamorphosis i, at house of annetta, london, and participation in the pilotenkueche international residency program round 57 in Leipzig, Germany.

KELLY HAS A BACHELOR OF FINE ARTS (HONOURS) FROM UNSW ART AND DESIGN.
